MUMBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday to enquire about Rashmi Thackeray’s health and wished her for early recover.
Rashmi, wife of CM Uddhav Thackeray, was admitted in HN Reliance hospital on Tuesday after complaining about persistent cough and uneasiness.
Modi on Wednesday called Uddhav and and prayed for her long life, said Sena sources.
Sena sources further said that she is responding well for treatment.
Rashmi, who has been tested positive for Covid-19 on March 23.
On March 11, Rashmi had taken the first jab of Covid vaccine at government run-JJ hospital along with CM Thackeray and her mother.
